Community Services

MADIF is a group of individuals with who have dedicated themselves to providing access for the Interpreting/Deaf/HoH (Hard of Hearing) community. Inclusion for everyone regardless of auditory status is our ultimate goal. We achieve this by offering ASL classes, grants for student interpreters and mentoring. We offer interpreting services at a discounted rate to LGBTQ festivals, businesses, non-profits and events within the region. To do this, funding is critical. Please donate today!

B & Dee's Baltimore Love
Lunch Patrol & Community Pride BBQ

B & Dee’s Baltimore Love was founded by Brian Dolbow in memory of his dear friend, Demetrios Mallisham. Demetrios, while working as the mayoral Neighborhood Liaison and the liaison to the LGBT communities, touched the lives of many people across this city. We want to continue his wonderful and important work.

We began serving the homeless in Baltimore in 2013 as a small group of volunteers who would come together a few times per year. Since then, we have grown tremendously! As of February 2018, we have over 1,500 people in our volunteer network. Through our monthly Lunch Patrol program and our larger quarterly events, we typically feed approximately 1,300 people in need every month. Quarterly events include our Annual Black History Month Celebration, Annual Easter Celebration , Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Tribute, a Back to School Block Party, and our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner. These events also feature health resources, clothing and hygiene item giveaways, and live entertainment.
